YOU ARE IMPECCABLE

Dear Pujyapada Srila Bhakti Vijnana Bharati Maharaja,

Today is the day of your divine disappearance. Thus I am remembering your divine disappearance pastime.

You entered samadhi 7 years ago. Your behaviour is impeccable, and your glories are unlimited. Thus it is only due to my own misfortune that I haven´t made a written offering (puspanjali) to you until now.

The day before you entered samadhi, I was in Europe. By your mercy a senior devotee informed me that you were about to enter samadhi and asked me if I would come? My physical health is bad, I had no flight ticket, my suitcase wasn´t packed, travelling to India requires a visa, etc - there were so many obstacles, that I would not even have thought about trying to see you, had it not been for the invitation of that very merciful devotee.

Fortunately, in a very mysterious way, the impossible became possible: I suddenly remembered that, actually I already had a valid visa, because I had planned to visit you for Kartika, and had been granted a visa just one week ago. So then I started looking for flight tickets, and thereafter I had a few hours left to pack, before I had to jump on the earliest morning train and travel 4 hours in order to reach the flight to India, which - thank God - I fortunately managed.

As I entered the temple in Faridabad, many devotees were there, doing kirtan and other services, and a devotee followed me to the room where you were staying.

You weren´t externally conscious, and thus we weren´t allowed to enter your room - but we could offer our pranams and prayers and garlands through the open window, which we did.

I felt very relieved and grateful that you had somehow waited for me, and I got to tell you that which I felt I needed to tell you. I felt that you were aware of my presence and reciprocated, which was nice.

But we all knew that it was only a matter of time, and it felt surreal. Some devotees were holding on to the hope that you would recover and remain manifest with us. Others were thinking that you would be manifest for at least another couple of days. It was difficult.

I was standing there in front of your room, feeling grateful to those talented devotees, who had made nice colourful decorations outside your window, reminding us that we are all colourful eternal spirit souls, and thus there is always hope.

Thereafter a devotee suggested to me, that I should go to a place where I could put my luggage and get some rest - since my body hadn´t slept the entire night, and you were expected to remain manifest for at least another couple of days, it seemed sensible to find a place to rest.

Before I left, I remember saying to you, that if it was easier for you to enter samadhi whilst I was not there, then let it be that way.

Then I followed a devotee to a room where I could put my things and sleep, and I fell into an unusually deep sleep - only to be woken up a few hours later by a sweet devotee, who told me that you had just entered samadhi.

We hurried to the temple, and when we got there, everyone was gathering for sankirtan in the temple room, awaiting your arrival.

When you arrived, you were beautifully dressed in new clean clothes, and you were placed in front of Sri Radha Madhava.

All the devotees were doing kirtan, circumambulating you, and offering flowers. I remember that we were singing “Krishna deva bhavantam vande”, and at that time I felt that you were happy together with Sri Radha Madhava in the spiritual world.

Afterwards you travelled to Sridham Mayapur and were placed in samadhi at the place, which you yourself have chosen for your samadhi mandir.

From your arrival in Sridham Mayapur to your procession in Sridham Mayapur and the following samadhi ceremonies, everything was nicely managed and went very well - it felt transcendental, and the demigods showered flowers (water) at the end.

I am eternally indebted to you for revealing the complete truth, that Srimati Radhika is actually the daughter af Vrsabhanu Maharaja and Kirtida Devi, in the same way that Sri Krishna is the son of Yasoda Mayia and Nanda Maharaja.

The way you brought me from Europe to India reminds me of Janmastami, and the way you entered your eternal pastimes reminds me of Radhastami.

Your divine disappearance pastime is impeccable, as is everything else about you.

Kindly forgive me for being such a fool,

Pujyapada Srila Bhakti Vijnana Bharati Maharaja ki jaya!
